In today’s episode Rhowena Adolfo Patel, CEO and founder of Healing Mama Co, is coming to the show!
Rhowena created Healing Mama Co from her own experience as a first-time mom. She has backpacked through 58 countries, and 7 of those were with an infant! Entrepreneurship is literally in her blood. Born to immigrant parents that started business after business, not always successfully, but definitely planted the seeds since her childhood.
She is an award-winning Financial Planner, she's spoken in Canada and internationally about the art of money and planning, she's literally worn different crowns, she's run a bed and breakfast, and now she and Healing Mama Co. are on a movement to bring Parental Care to the forefront of childbirth and postpartum.

In today’s episode Jen Knutson, Naturopath, Nutritionist, wellness coach, and founder of the healthy hormone method is coming to the show!
She has overcome many of her own issues, including: PCOS, infertility, adrenal fatigue, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, low blood sugar, vertigo, migraines, a severe lack of motivation and a pessimistic outlook on life.
She was able to overcome these difficulties through changes in lifestyle and diet, along with proper supplementation. The difference in her mental and physical health has been life changing, and has sparked a passion in her to help others live the life they deserve.
Jen believes we all deserve to be happy and healthy and her goal is to help others enjoy life to the fullest by being well.
Jen has spent the last 17 years in the health industry. In today’s episode Cara Tyrrell, founder of core4parenting, who empowers proactive parents to raise happy, healthy, kindergarten-ready children from birth - is coming back to the show!
Cara has Bachelor degrees in ASL and Linguistics and a Masters degree in Education.
She’s a trained Early Childhood Teacher, Early Years Caregiver, continuing education consultant, and parent coach. In her preschool and Kindergarten classrooms, she identified a pattern of
underdeveloped skill sets in her students leading to a professional pivot as an online Early Childhood Parent Educator.
Cara founded Core4Parenting, an online community and course platform for parents and caregivers that follows the developmental path of the young child while educating, empowering, and engaging parents and caregivers to be their child’s brain architect between birth and 5 years old, setting them up for success in school and life.

In today’s episode, Kaila Maguire, former Teacher and host of the Parent Tell podcast, is coming to the show.
Pregnancy and the fourth trimester were very isolating, jarring, and just plain sucky at times for Kaila; a lot of this had to do with the fact that she simply didn’t know what she didn’t know.
Movies, tv, and most friendly conversations about pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting barely scrape the surface of what life is often like during such a transformational time.
Kaila does not want birthing people and new parents to feel the way she did, and so Parent Tell was born. A ot of similarities between us here!
Through her podcast Kaila provides a safe and inclusive space to parent and tell about it.
I asked Kaila to come to the show today to share with us her experience. She gave birth during the pandemic, and even if things might look a bit different right now, her story is really inspiring,a and I know you will get some golden nuggets from our conversation and the tips she shares with us!
